Thiruvananthapuram: The founder of Hindu Seva Kendram, Pratheesh Vishwanath, has accused Congress-led UDF candidate Dr. Shashi Tharoor of hypocrisy on holding Bitcoin ETF.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor, who made public statements against Bitcoin, disclosed in his nomination affidavit that he holds Bitcoin ETF in his portfolio, the Hindu Seva Kendram leader pointed out.

"Shashi Tharoor's disclosure of holding Bitcoin ETF, despite his past criticism of Bitcoin, highlights his double stand. The contradiction between his public statements and private investments raises questions about his integrity and transparency," he added.

He was responding to the disclosure of Dr. Shashi Tharoor, contesting from the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat, that he holds a Bitcoin ETF worth Rs 5,11,314.

He also expressed deep concern over the recent announcement of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political arm of the banned terror outfit Popular Front of India (PFI), that it will vote for the Congress party in the Lok Sabha election in Kerala.

He also slammed Shashi Tharoor for raising baseless allegations against BJP candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

He also strongly denied Tharoor's allegations that Rajeev Chandrasekhar promised money to certain leaders of Christian communities for their electoral support.
