Prez, VP, PM greet people of Arunachal, Mizoram on their Statehood Day

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and others on Sunday greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their Statehood Day.

"Greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on Statehood Day. Endowed with natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, both the states exemplify unity in diversity. I wish both the states to make rapid strides in development while living in harmony with nature," the President tweeted.



Extending his warm wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the VP in a tweet wrote, "My greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on their state formation day. Arunachal Pradesh is known for its pristine natural beauty, diverse flora and fauna, rich cultural heritage & hospitable people. My best wishes for the all-round growth and prosperity of Arunachal Pradesh."



"My greetings to the people of Mizoram on their state formation day. Known for its exotic culture, varied biodiversity, emerald forests and sparkling waterfalls, Mizoram is truly a sight to behold. May the state and its people scale newer heights of progress in the times to come," Naidu said.



In a series of tweets, the PM wrote, "Best wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on their Statehood Day. The people of the state are known for their stupendous talent and hardworking nature. May the state scale new heights of development in the times to come."



"Greetings to the people of Mizoram on their Statehood Day. India takes great pride in the vibrant Mizo culture and the contributions of Mizoram to national progress. I pray for the good health and well-being of the people of Mizoram," he said.



Conveying his greetings to the people of Mizoram, the LS Speaker said, "The mesmerizing natural beauty, serene countryside and rich cultural heritage of Mizoram are unmatched. May the State continue to progress and contribute to the development of the nation."



"Warm greetings to my brothers and sisters from Arunachal Pradesh, Land of Dawn-lit-Mountains, on their Statehood Day. The people of Arunachal are making rich contributions to the nation. I pray for the progress of Arunachal Pradesh in the years to come," he tweeted.a



Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a tweet said, "Extend my warm wishes to the people of Mizoram on their statehood day. Mizoram is known for its vibrant culture and amazing people, passionate about the nation's growth. May the state continue scaling new heights of development."



"Greetings to our sisters and brothers of Arunachal Pradesh on their statehood day. The state is blessed with immense natural beauty and hardworking citizens. May the state keep progressing in the years ahead," he said.



Extending his warm wishes to people of Arunachal Pradesh, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda said under the visionary leadership of the PM and Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the state is witnessing continuous progress. May the state continue to scale new heights and progress, he said.



"Greetings to the people of Mizoram on their Statehood Day. The state is blessed with immense natural beauty and known for its rich culture. Their commitment in contributing in India's growth is praiseworthy. I pray for the continued development of the state," Naidu said. (UNI)
