New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Condemning the violence by followers of Dera Sacha Sauda Ram Rahim chief after a CBI court convicted him of rape, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today appealed to people to restore peace and tranquility.
In a tweet, Rahul said, 'Violence & brutality have no place in our society. Condemn the rampage and lawlessness in Haryana & appeal to restore peace and tranquility." Violence by followers of Dera chief has led to death of over 20 people and left several others injured.
