New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday paid floral tributes to former prime minister and his father late Rajiv Gandhi on his 30th death anniversary, at his memorial, Veer Bhumi, here.
On May 21, 1991, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by a suicide bomber at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu during election campaigning.
Paying homage to him, Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on their official twitter handles have posted photos and messages remembering the former prime minister.
Ms Vadra in a tweet along with photo of the former Prime Minister said, ''There is no greater strength than love, no greater courage than kindness, no greater power than compassion and no greater teacher than humility.'' (UNI)
