New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday visited former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the All India Institute for Medical sciences, where the latter has been admitted for a routine check up.Sources said that Mr Gandhi met Mr Vajpayee at AIIMS on Monday afternoon to enquire about his health.
The former Prime Minister and BJP leader was on Monday admitted to AIIMS for a routine check up, AIIMS officials said.''Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been admitted for routine check-up and investigations. He has been kept in CCU and will be under the supervision of Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS,'' the AIIMS said in a statement.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Monday visited former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the All India Institute of Medical sciences (AIIMS), a release from the Prime Minister's office said.The Prime Minister, who was at AIIMS for about 50 minutes, interacted with family members of Mr Vajpayee.
He also spoke to Doctors and inquired about the health of Mr Vajpayee.Earlier on Monday, BJP chief Amit Shah and Congress president Rahul Gandhi visited the former Prime Minister.
