Railways cancels 5 pairs trains, Know details

Bhubaneswar: Railways have cancelled five pairs of special trains originating from East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction due to poor patronisation and surge of Covid19 infection.

The 08417/08418 Puri-Gunupur-Puri Special from Puri will be cancelled from May 5 and from Gunupur from May, 6 till further advice.

The 08303/08304 Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Special from both the directions will remain cancelled from tomorrow till further advice.

The 08425/08426 Puri-Durg-Puri Special from Puri will be cancelled from May 5 and May 6 from Durg

The 09371/09372 Indore-Puri-Indore Special from Indore and Puri will be cancelled from May 4 and 6 respectively.

Similarly, he 02204/02203 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad Special will be cancelled from Secunderabad from May 3 to May 31 while from Visakhapatnam it would be cancelled from May 4 to June 1, 2021.

Railways have decided to run a Special Train between Secunderabad & Guwahati. The 07030/07029 Secunderabad-Guwahati-Secunderabad Special from Secunderabad will leave at 0730hrs on every Sunday between May 9 to May 30, 2021.

In the return direction, the train from Guwahati will leave at 0645hrs on every Wednesday from May 12 to June 2, 2021.

Apart from this, Railways is running two Special trains towards Danapur from Mysore and Vasco-da-gama.

The 07313 Vasco-da-gama-Danapur Special will leave from Vasco-da-gama- at 1100hrs on May 6. The 06216 Mysore-Danapur Special will  also leave at 1100hrs on May 6 from Mysore. (UNI)
