Raipur: Man beats neighbour to death by rod for molesting wife

Raipur (Chhattisgarh): A youth was allegedly beaten to death with a rod in the Dhaneli Paper Mill area of Raipur here on Friday, police said.

According to the information received on Friday in connection with the incident, the accused has committed this crime due to the molestation of his wife.

The police have arrested the accused husband, Manik Ram Maravi, and wife, Asha Bai Marawi.

This case is related to the Dharsiwa police station area. According to information received from Dharsiwa police, the accused, Manik and Laxman, are neighbours. Laxman had entered the house late at night to molest the accused's wife, and as soon as the angry husband and wife beat Laxman to death with a rod.

Police have registered a case, arrested the husband and wife, and are investigating the matter.
