Ayodhya: Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of Ram Mandir Construction Committee at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, rejected the statement of Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ramlala, regarding water dripping from the roof of the temple.
He said, "There is no problem of water leakage in the temple premises. I myself went and inspected it. The roof of the mandap under construction will be completed on the second floor. When the mandap under construction is ready, the water will not come."
The Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee further said that the roof of the complete mandap has been installed for the devotees.
Arrangements have been made to avoid water and sunlight by making temporary construction, he informed.
He also said that confusion has been created while there is no leakage.
The construction of the Ram temple is being completed at the highest level, with no deficiencies in the underground wiring of electricity, and water is being sourced through the pipe into the sewage, he said.
Nripendra Mishra said that from time to time, the construction work is inspected by CVRI. Rudki CBRI conducts a monthly test, and their senior engineers issue certificates after ensuring satisfaction with the construction work.
Giving information about the drainage problem in the sanctum sanctorum, the chairman said that the Lord's bath and decoration also take place in the sanctum sanctorum.
The water for the Lord's bath and decoration is given to the devotees gathered in a pond, including the saints and sages, as per their demand.
The pavilion, right, and left portions of the temple are open, and heavy rain may have caused water splashes in the pavilion, causing a light shower on the temple premises.
He said that there is no possibility of water dripping from above on the temple premises.
It is worth noting that the chief priest of Ram Lalla, seated on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi said in one of his statements that water was dripping from the recent heavy rains outside the sanctum sanctorum, where devotees take 'darshan'.
He had also asked for an investigation.
