Rohingya Muslim refugees in Saharanpur will be expelled: SSP

Saharanpur: About 50 families of Rohingya Muslims staying here in different parts of the district from long time will be expelled from the country. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bablu Kumar said here today that he has information that about 50 families of Rohingya Muslims inhabited in district. Mr Kumar said according to local information unit more than 15 such Muslim families were staying in a slaughter house in Gangoh town.
 

They clashed with Bangali Muslims on July 25. SSP said that few of them have refugee certificate of UNO while others have applied for it. According to information by intelligence department Ajijul Haq, Abdul Kalam, Nurul Haq, Samsul Islam and Hasan Islam had refugee certificate. He said Muslim welfare association of Deoband had presented a memorandum addressed to Prime Ministerto SI Sidharth Singh in favour of refugee Muslims. (UNI)
