New Delhi: Samsung launched its Galaxy S25 Fan Edition (FE), a new smartphone that brings many flagship features at a more affordable price.

The phone was unveiled just before the IFA 2025 technology fair showing the company wants to leverage the industrial event.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has two variants based on Random Access Memory (RAM) capabilities. The price for the 8GB RAM/ 128 GB storage variant is at USD 650 and for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant is at USD 710.

The announcement of the Indian price and sale date is expected soon.

Samsung’s Fan Edition (FE) smartphones come up with epic camera qualities, lightning quick reflexes and mega batteries.

Comparatively to the predecessors, the latest Fan Edition (FE) has a larger display and different camera resolutions.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE model runs on ‘Exynos 2400 chipset.’

The ‘Exynos 2400 chipset’ is Samsung’s flagship mobile processor with 10-core CPU. Plus, it has Xclipse 940 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).

However, most galaxy models have a 'Snapdragon processor' which is designed in partnership with Qualcomm.

These processors come with abilities to provide computing power for everything from user interfaces to handling complex applications.

The Galaxy S25 FE is slimmer and lighter than previous Fan Edition (FE) models.

It measures 7.4 mm in thickness and weighs 190 grams, making it easy to hold and carry.

Built with Armor Aluminum and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, the device is designed to be durable.

It also comes with IP68 certification, meaning it is resistant to dust and water. Customers can choose from four colours — Navy, Icy Blue, Jet Black, and White.

The phone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode (AMOLED) 2X display that supports Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The screen can reach a brightness of 1,900 nits, which helps in outdoor use.

With slim bezels and a floating front camera, the display offers an immersive viewing experience, whether for movies, gaming, or browsing.

Powering the device is Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and storage options up to 512GB.

To handle heavy use, especially while gaming, Samsung has added a larger vapor cooling chamber that helps keep the phone from overheating.

The Galaxy S25 FE is backed by a 4,900mAh battery, slightly bigger than the last FE model.
It supports 45W fast charging, which can charge the phone up to 65 percent in about half an hour.

It also offers 15W wireless charging and the ability to wirelessly charge smaller devices like earbuds or smartwatches.

On the back, the phone has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom.

The front camera has been upgraded to 12MP, delivering sharper selfies and better low-light photos.

Samsung’s ProVisual Engine and AI tools add features such as Generative Edit for photo adjustments, Instant Slow-Mo for videos, and AI Composition Suggestions for framing shots.

The device runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, and it comes with Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features.

These include smart tools like Now Bar, Now Brief, and Gemini Live, designed to help with everyday tasks.
