New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday said it would consider a plea that seeks deletion of 'objectionable' scenes in the Hindi film 'Padmavati'. "We would consider the plea", the apex court said but refused to give any date for hearing.
A Delhi based lawyer, Manohar Lal Sharma, had filed a public interest litigation in the court, claiming that certain scenes in the movie, are objectionable and it should be deleted. He also sought prosecution against the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for allegedly depicting these scenes. (UNI)
