Separatists call for strike on Friday against killings during Ramazan

Srinagar: The separatists have called for a general strike on Friday against 'no let-up in killings in the valley, even during the holy month of Ramazan'.

The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising himself and Separatists Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mohammad Yaseen Malik, in a statement issued here on Thursday, urged people to observe a complete strike on Friday.

The JRL also appealed to people, especially the youth, to maintain peace and discipline, while leading the protest march after Friday prayers, in many nooks and corners of the state.UNI
