New Delhi:A Delhi court on Thursday granted bail to former union minister Shashi Tharoor in connection with death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar. Special Judge Arvind Kumar asked Tharoor to furnish a bail bond of Rs one lakh and asked him not leave the country without court's permission.
The Congress MP had moved the anticipatory bail plea on Tuesday.The court had summoned the Thiruvanathapuram MP as an accused on June 5 and asked him to appear before it on July 7.
Sunanda was found dead in a luxury hotel in the city on January 17, 2014.(UNI)
