SHOCKING! Mumbai man kills live-in-partner, chops body into pieces, boils them in cooker

A 56-year-old man has been arrested for killing his 36-year-old live-in partner and chopping her body into pieces in Mumbai's Mira Road.

According to sources, the accused used to ‘boil body parts in cooker’ to ensure there is no foul smell.

Manoj Sahani had been staying with Saraswati Vaidya in flat 704 at Geeta Akash Deep building in Geeta Nagar Phase 7 over the past three years. Police were alerted by local residents who complained of a foul smell emanating from the flat.

The police found several decomposed body parts of the woman, which led to suspicion that the murder could have occurred three-four days ago.

Reports stated that residents told the police that Sahani was seen feeding stray dogs in the locality over the past two to three days - something that he had never done in the past.

Police suspect he may have fed some of the body parts to the stray dogs. They are also trying to find out if body parts were flushed down the drain.

The police have taken into custody the accused and are investigating to find out the motive behind the murder.
