Shocking! Nurse raped by two youths in Gaziabad

Ghaziabad: Two youths allegedly raped a woman after abducting her while she was returning from her work in the Rajnagar Extension area of the district last night. The Sihani Gate police, under which the area falls, has registered an FIR in the case. All the accused are absconding.. The 25-year old woman works as a nurse at a nursing home in Rajnagar.

Last night, when she was returning from work on foot, two youths stopped her and started 'looting' her of her valuables. On protest, they dragged her to nearby fields and raped her there. After committing the crime, they made away with her bag, mobile and other items. After the incident, The Sihani Gate police station registered an FIR of 'rape' and 'loot' post medical examination of the survivor. Police was trying to identify the culprits and making efforts for their arrests. Police said the nurse is a resident of Shiv Vihar colony, near Rajnagar Extension. (UNI)
