The autopsy reports of three out of six members of a Meitei family, who were reportedly abducted and killed by suspected Kuki militants in the Jiribam district of Manipur revealed multiple bullet wounds and lacerations on different parts of their bodies.

Three-year-old Chingkheinganba Singh, his mother L Heitonbi Devi (25), and grandmother Y Rani Devi were among 6 members of a Meitei family who were abducted on November 11 during an attack by armed men on a relief camp where they lived.

Their bodies were recovered from the Jiri and Barak rivers last week and sent to Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH) in Assam's Cachar district for post-postmortem.

The autopsy report of the child showed that his right eye was missing and he had a bullet wound in the skull,” the officials said, as reported by PTI.

Signed on November 17, the report also noted cut wounds, fractures in the chest, and lacerations on the forearm and other parts of his body.

His mother’s autopsy detailed that she had "three bullet wounds in the chest and one in the buttock".

His grandmother has five bullet wounds - one in the skull, two in the chest, one in the abdomen, and one in the arm.

The cause of death would be known after the receipt of the chemical analysis report of the viscera from the Directorate of Forensic Sciences in Guwahati.

According to PTI, the post-mortem reports of one more woman and two children are still pending.
