Stones pelted at ambulance taking suspect for quarantine in UP

Moradabad:A crowd indulged in stone pelting at an ambulance which was carrying a suspected COVID-19 patient for quarantine, resulting in injuries to health workers in this Uttar Pradesh district on Wednesday.  
According to sources, workers of the health department were taking an individual to be put under quarantine to curb the spread of the Coronavirus when a crowd started pelting stones at the ambulance. 
 
The crowd also chased away policemen who came forward to protect the doctor and medical staff. 
 
Police have identified people who were involved in stone pelting and have taken three individuals into custody who are being questioned. (UNI)
