Sunanda Pushkar death case: Court reserves order on summoning Shashi Tharoor on June 5

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday reserved its order till  June 5 in the Sunanda Pushkar death case in which Indian National Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has been arraigned for abetting her suicide.
Delhi Police had filed a charge sheet before the court on May 14 accusing Shashi Tharoor, the Lok Sabha MP representing Thiruvananthapuram, of abetting Pushkar's suicide.Police had filed a charge sheet of about 3,000 pages before the court and alleged that Tharoor had subjected his wife to cruelty.
 
Prosecution submitted that Tharoor should be summoned as an accused in the case and alleged that there was sufficient evidence against him.Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal, after hearing arguments on behalf of prosecution, adjourned the hearing for June 5 for passing the order whether Tharoor should be summoned as an accused in the case.(UNI)
