The couple remained together even in death, love wins

Puducherry: An old age couple here 'has not get separated even in death'.According to sources, Veerappan (95), a retired Superintendent with the government general hospital and his wife  Jayalakshmi( 81) were living at Indira Nagar  under the care of their daughter as their two sons are in France.
  
On April 30, Jayalakshmi died due to age related illness and her body was kept in the mortuary of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science or their sons to arrive.
 
As Veerappan was too old and sick, the relatives thought of informing him about the death of Jayalakshmi at the last minute and they informed him that she was admitted to the hospital.
  
In this back drop, their sons came to Puducherry on Friday and Jayalakshmi's body was brought to their house. On seeing the body of his wife, Veerappan out of shock collapsed and breathed his last.The couple were cremated together at the Karuvadikuppam crematorium here last evening.(UNI)
