Three killed in Mumbai rain

Mumbai: Three people were today killed in two house collapse incidents in suburban Vikroli, in the wake of torrential rains that lashed the financial capital, police said. Many parts of the metropolis and suburbs were inundated, causing waist-deep floods. "Rail services, including on harbour and central lines, can start any time.
 

However, western railways is slowly starting," BMC sources said. According to the sources, about 200 trees were uprooted and 70 complaints of short circuit were received. No rainfall has occurred since night and water is receding slowly. (UNI)
