Three LeT OGWs held, arms, ammunition recovered in north Kashmir

Srinagar: Security forces arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Laskher-e-Toiba (LeT) militant outfit in apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, a police spokesperson said.

He further said acting on a tip off Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and CRPF launched a joint search operation in Sopore on late Saturday night.

Three OGWs of LeT were arrested and a large cache of and arms ammunition, including UBGL thrower 01 UBGL Grenades four, AK- 47 Magazines 4,  AK- 47 live ammunition 137 rounds were recovered.

A case was registered under relevant sections and investigation was underway, he added. (UNI)
