In a tragic incident, a woman died after her saree got stuck in the generator in a wedding ceremony in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place in Ranipura village of Dhar district on Wednesday night.
The barat from three different places came to a family here and welcome ceremony was going on. Meanwhile, the sari of a 23-year-old woman got stuck in the generator and within no time, the woman also got entangled in the running generator and she died. Chaos erupted at the wedding party after the freak accident.
The woman was cremated in village Aali after post-mortem on Thursday morning.
According to the information received, Tanu (23) of Aali village was also present in the Baraat from Katodia village. Around 10 pm, when the rituals were going on, Tanu's saree got stuck in the generator and she got badly injured. The critically injured woman was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors pronounced her dead.
