In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old boy died after being pulled into a grinder machine in Worli, Mumbai.
Reports said the hem of Yadav’s shirt got stuck in the machine and he got pulled in.
The victim has been identified as Suraj Narayan Yadav, from Jharkhand. He had been working for the past three-four months at a roadside Chinese food stall owned by Sachin Kothekar (32) in Adarsh Nagar.
Dadar police have registered FIR against Kothekar.
The police said the accident took place while Yadav was handling a grinder machine to prepare raw materials for Chinese dishes. He had no previous experience or technical knowledge to operate such equipment. The stall owner allegedly assigned him the task without providing proper safety measures or training.
