New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a handicapped tea seller was crushed to death by a Delhi Police vehicle near the Ram Krishna Ashram Metro station on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as Gangaram, who operated a small tea stall in the area.
According to officials, the police vehicle ran over Gangaram, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The incident prompted immediate action, with local police and a crime team rushing to the location to secure the scene and initiate an investigation.
The body has been transferred to a nearby hospital for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
An FIR (First Information Report) is being filed in the matter, and authorities have confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
