New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to former prime minister Indira Gandhi on her 103rd birth anniversary.In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, ''Tributes to former PM Smt. Indira Gandhi Ji on her birth anniversary."

 
Born on November 19, 1917, Indira Gandhi was the prime minister between 1966 and 1977 and again from 1980 until her assassination in 1984.

Puducherry: Floral tributes were paid to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 103rd birth anniversary here on Thursday.
 
Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, his cabinet colleagues, Assembly Speaker V P Sivakolunthu, legislators and senior officials of the territorial administration garlanded the statue of Gandhi. 
 
Rich tributes were paid to the decorated portrait of Indira Gandhi at PCC office here. Mr Narayanasamy and other party leaders were present.
 
Sonia, Rahul pay tributes to former PM Indira Gandhi on her 103rd birth anniversary
 
New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi and leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 103rd  birth anniversary.
 
Sonia and Rahul visited the Indira Gandhi Memorial to offer floral tributes to the iron lady of India.
 
Earlier in the morning, Rahul also paid a visit to Shakti Sthal, the memorial along the banks of Yamuna to pay tributes to his grandmother.
 
Taking to twitter Mr Gandhi said, ''A tribute to an efficient PM and a symbol of power Srimati Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary. The entire nation still exemplifies her impressive leadership, but I always remember her as my beloved grandmother.
Her teachings inspire me constantly.''
 
The nation is celebrating 103rd birth anniversary of the first and only woman PM of the country also known as the iron lady across the globe.(UNI)
