Truck bus Mishap claims 8 lives in MP, 55 Injured

Guna:Eight labourers died and 55 sustained injuries when a truck conveying them to their native Unnao District from Maharashtra  collided head on with a bus, heading for Ahmedabad from Gwalior, at approximately 0300 hrs on Thursday on a bypass in the vicinity of this district headquarters, law-enforcement authorities said.  

Those hurt have been admitted at the District infirmary. There were no passengers in the bus whose driver's negligence is being blamed for the incident. The accused is absconding. Six of the deceased were identified as Ibrahim, Ajeet, Arjun, Wasim, Ramesh and Sudheer. The district administration is in touch with the Uttar Pradesh dispensation.(UNI)
