Ahmedabad/New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Describing the 'twin blows' of demonetisation and GST as a complete disaster for the Indian economy, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday said it has broken the back of small and medium businesses in the country.
Addressing traders and businessmen in Ahmedabad, a day before the first anniversary of the demonetisation decision by the NDA Government, Dr Singh said November 8 was 'a black day for our economy and democracy".
