Two brothers of Saleem also arrested in the murder of Chandan in Kasganj

Kasganj :Other two prime accused of Chandan Gupta murder case, Naseem and Waseem were asserted on Wednesday while their other brother Shakeel was arrested earlier.Superintendent of police Piyush Srivastava said that three brothers Naseem, Waseem and Shaleem were accused of murder of Chandan Gupta on January 26 when some youth has taken out Tiranga Yatra to celebrate Republic day. Shakeel was arrested earlier by police while Naseem and Waseem were arrested today and police has recovered two pistols and some cartages from them.

The clash between two groups during Tiranga Yatra procession turned violent after death of Chandan Gupta. Many vehicles were torched, religious places vandalised for many during violence for many days.More than 19 people were arrested in connection with the violence of Kasganj and high security was placed to deal with any untoward situation there. (UNI)
