Jammu: Two terrorists have reportedly been killed as the Army has successfully foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday."Some suspicious movement was noticed in general area of Mendhar on early Thursday morning," defence spokesman here said.
He said that a brief exchange of fire took place while the searches in the area are in progress.Meanwhile, reliable sources in the Army said that two of the terrorists have been neutralised, adding, "the area is cordoned and search operation is in progress.""The bodies of the slain terrorists are yet to be retrieved as they are lying close to the fence," the sources added.(UNI)
