Kolhapur: Shiv Sena (Shinde) spokesperson, Raju Waghmare, created a sensation in political circles of the state, claiming that then undivided Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had planned to eliminate Eknath Shinde to make his son Aaditya as chief minister.

Addressing a press conference here, he alleged that Thackeray had planned to eliminate Shinde, when he was a district guardian minister of Naxal-hit Gadchiroli district, by not providing him a Z-plus security, in order to make his son Aaditya the chief minister of the state.

Waghmare also claimed that Sena MP Sanjay Raut had a plan to replace Uddhav Thackeray from the post of chief minister and for this, he had several meetings with some leaders in a Mumbai hotel.
