Union Minister Ananth Kumar passes away, PM condoles death

BengaluruUnion Minister HN  Ananth Kumar died of cancer at a private Hospital in the city on early Monday.He was 59.  He was survived by his wife and two daughters.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled death of the Minister.  In his twitter, Mr Modi said,  "I spoke to his wife Dr Tejaswini and expressed condolences.  My thoughts are with his entire family, friends and supporters in this hour of grief and sadness. Om Shanti".
 
His body will be kept at Jaganath Bhavan, the BJP Karnataka Headquarters, to enable public to pay their tributes to the departed soul.
 
According to family sources, the last rites will be held at Chamarajpet crematorium on Tuesday with full State honour. 
 
The government has declared a three-day mourning and as a mark of respect.  Schools and colleges were declared holiday.
 
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who is resting in Mysuru District as per Doctors Advise, will be rushing to the state capital to pay his last respect.(UNI)
