Union minister Jual Oram's wife dies of dengue

Bhubaneswar: Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram's wife, Jhingia Oram, passed away in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar late on Saturday night while undergoing treatment for Dengue.
 
She was 58.
 
She was admitted to the hospital nine days ago.
 
On getting information, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhi, several ministers, and BJP leaders rushed to the residence of Oram at Lumbinivihar in Bhubaneswar and paid their last respects to the departed soul.
 
Chief Minister Majhi, Speaker Surama Padhi, and ministers condoled the demise and expressed their sympathies to the bereaved family members.
 
Majhi said the demise of Jual Oram's wife is an inseparable loss for Jual Oram's family. 'We have come here to express our condolences."
 
Family sources said her last rites would be performed at their native village, Kendudihi, in Sundergarha district on Sunday.
