Lucknow : The Uttar Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata party took out a Vijay sankalp yatra in all the 403 assembly constituencies of the state on Saturday, when all its senior leaders and ministers of the state government rode bikes, scooters and other two wheelers with a resolve to ensure victory of BJP in the coming Lok Sabha election.
Senior leaders and ministers in the state government took part in the rally, in-charge of this campaign Vijay Bahadur Pathak said here on Saturday.
The BJP workers and the leaders took out the yatra while raising nationalist slogans and appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his tough stand against Pakistan.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took part in the campaign at Gorakhpur, while Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in Varanasi, national general secretary (organization) Ram Lal in Ghaziabad, former union Minister Kalraj Mishra in Deoria and national general secretary Arun Singh in Noida, were among the top leaders who participated in the rally.
During the yatra, two-wheelers carried party flags and stickers while the riders waved the national Tri-colour. They also carried sound system playing patriotic songs while raising slogans like Bharat Mata ki jai.
According to the programme of the party , Mr Pathak said at least five motorcycles from each booth were part of this campaign. (UNI)
