Uttarakhand: 26 killed as bus with pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh falls into gorge

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Home department on Monday said the toll in the bus accident that took place near Damta on Yamunotri Highway in Uttarkashi of Uttarakhand, has reached 26. The number of people injured are four.

Besides, 28 pilgrims from Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, a driver and a helper were on board the bus.

The injured have been taken to the health center in Damta, which is about three km from the accident site. Senior doctors who came here from Barkot, were treating the injured.

Madhya Pradesh Home Department has also released the list of all 28 passengers. (UNI)
