Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) National Spokesperson Dr Ravinootala Shashidhar has alleged that Telangana Government Residential Junior Colleges (TGRJCs) are being used as centers for Christian conversion activities.

He raised serious concerns about alleged religious conversions in these institutions, particularly at the Hassan Parthi Girls' Residential College in Hanumakonda district.
Dr Shashidhar met TGRJC Secretary Ch Ramana Kumar on Monday and submitted a written complaint seeking immediate legal action against what he described as a "Christian conversion mafia."

He claimed that the college Principal was facilitating these activities, harassing students who resisted conversion, and inviting Christian clergymen into the campus to influence students.
The complaint alleged that the Principal had turned the institution into a religious centre over the past 21 years and accused him of physically harassing students. It was reported that many students had quit their studies due to the alleged harassment and fear. Supporting these claims, Dr Shashidhar provided video and photographic evidence to the Secretary.

The VHP Spokesperson demanded that the state government act swiftly to stop these activities and take strict measures against those involved. "If the government fails to take appropriate action, the VHP will be prepared for direct intervention," he warned, according to a statement.(UNI)
