Baghmundi:Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday urged the tribal community to vote for Modiji for "schemes" or vote for TMC for "scams" and assured the Jangalmahal people of providing clean piped drinking water with a project of Rs 10,000 crore and setting up Tribal development board once the NDA government was voted to power in West Bengal.
“Dengue and Malaria would not go until and unless the TMC government was evicted in the elections," Mr Shah, referring to Dengue -Malaria prone districts of this part of Bengal, said.
He said to remove malaria and dengue from Bengal, "Didi has to be removed."Mr Shah said that Mamata Banerjee brought unemployment and no development to the state.
He also called the TMC government "incompetent".
"Firstly, the Left did not let industries establish here, then Didi also drove industries away. Be it TMC or Left, they cannot provide employment. If you want employment, then you must vote for NDA government, “the union minister said.Mr Shah assured that the BJP will provide at least 1 person from each family a government job in 5 years.
He said there are more than 115 central schemes happened under PM Modiji, and many of those schemes were not extended to Bengal due to Chief Minister."Didi fears that if those schemes are extended here then Modiji would become very popular and the danger for the TMC government," Mr Shah said.
He said once the BJP government was formed the party would implement all such schemes, including providing Rs 18000 to the poor people who had been deprived by the state government.
"Don't be afraid of the TMC goons and thugs. No one can do anything and vote fearlessly as central paramilitary forces guard all the polling booths," said the home minister.
He said elections are held for betterment of the people " But Didi here wants to make her nephew the chief minister.""We have decided that no money will be taken from the tribals for education when the BJP comes to power.
"It has been decided to form a board for the development of tribals. AIIMS will be set up in Jangalmahal so that the people of Jangalmahal do not have to go out for treatment. Work has started to cover the entire Jangalmahal with the train line. Will end in 2 years."
Mr Shah also said about the acute water crisis in the region. "Jangalmahal has a water problem. Mamata Banerjee's government has not been able to do anything for so many years. We will solve it when we come to power. We will invest 10 thousand crore rupees for the safe drinking water project."(UNI)
