Waqf Board to stake claim on demolished Babri mosque!

Lucknow, Jul 27 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board has decided to stake a claim on the demolished Babri Mosque in Ayodhya.
 
Besides, it has also ordered to lodge an FIR against state minority welfare and Haj minister Mohsin Raza for illegally selling waqf properties.
 
In the two-day meeting of the Board which ended here today, the members authorised Chairman Wasim Rizvi to take decision on process to intervene in the court case related to Ayodhya issue.
 
In a press statement by Board's spokesperson Abid Raza here, the Board members alleged that the Shia Central Waqf Board, in nexus with the Sunni Waqf Board, intentionally lost the case and later did not stake their claim on the Shia Waqf property Mir Baki Mosque(Babri Maszid) in 1946.
 
"Now the Board will intervene in the matter pending in the Supreme Court and stake claim on the Babri Mosque in Ayodhya," Chairman Wasim Rizvi said.
