Jhajjar:A woman here allegedly manhandled a female cop when enquired of being outside despite a lockdown and threatened to spread coronavirus, police sources said here on Saturday.
The incident occurred when cops, including some women constables, on duty at Sector 9 in Bahadurgarh stopped the woman of Chhotu Ram Nagar for enquiry.
The woman not only manhandled the female constable on duty but also used abusive language against her, sources said and added that she also allegedly threatened to spread coronavirus.
The female constables on duty overpowered the woman and took her to the police station. On the complaint of the constable, a case under IPC sections and Disaster Management Act was registered against the woman.A video of the incident is making rounds on social media.
