Woman professor found dead at home with head wound in Nagpur

Mumbai: A 50-year-old woman professor, working as assistant professor in the physiotherapy department of the Government Medical College and Hospital, was found dead with a head wound in her house in Maharashtra's Nagpur city, police said on Sunday.

The woman's body was discovered on Saturday night, an official said.

According to details, the victim, Archana Anil Rahule, was residing alone in Ladikar Layout of Nagpur city as her husband, Anil Rahule, worked in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), and their son, a third-year medical student, was studying in Pune.

Hudkeshwar police station has registered an offence and investigation is on.
