15 Pakistani rangers killed in BSF retaliation

Jammu: Additional Director General BSF Arun Kumar today said that 15 Pak Rangers have been killed in retaliation to Pak firing across international borders. "BSF has killed 15 Pakistani rangers in retaliation since the day our Jawan Gurnam Singh attained martyrdom on IB when he suffered a bullet injury due to sniping," Mr Kumar here this afternoon told reporters after the wreath laying ceremony of BSF Jawan Jitender Kumar, who got martyred yesterday.
 

The BSF officer said the befitting reply is being given to the 'enemy and we will retaliate appropriately.' He further said that two infiltration bids were also successfully foiled recently on the border. On BAT, Mr Kumar said, "Border Action Team of Pakistani Army is active on the LoC but our forces are alert and geared to face any challenge and foil all nefarious designs from across the border."
