Puducherry: A 16-year-old boy who played online game for four hours continuously on Monday night fainted and died.
According to police, Darshan (16), a student residing at Villianur near here was playing the online game “Fire Wall” for four hours at a stretch last night.
When his father, Pachaiappan saw him in an unconscious state, he took him to Jipmer hospital at 2340 hours. The doctor who examined the boy informed that he was brought dead.
It is not immediately known whether the boy died because of playing the game for a long time or he had some other diseases.
Villianur police registered a case and started investigation. (UNI)
