2 militants killed in north Kashmir encounter

Srinagar: Two militants, including a Pakistani national, were killed in an encounter with security forces in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla today.

Official sources told UNI that following specific information about militant movement in Sopore, security forces established a checkpoint at Seeru in Baramulla. They said a vehicle, which was ferrying militants, was intercepted at the checkpoint. (UNI)
