2 sons of Hizbul chief among 11 employees terminated in J&K for anti national activities

Srinagar:Jammu and Kashmir government has terminated services of eleven employees, including two sons of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) based Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) chief Syed Salahuddin for anti national activities.
Both the sons of Salahuddin are under the custody of National Investigation Agency (NIA) since 3 years. NIA arrested Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin’s son Shahid  in October 2017. 'Shahid was arrested in Delhi after he was called for questioning at the NIA headquarters in an old case of terror funding registered in 2011,' an official said.

Shahid an employee of the agriculture department of Jammu & Kashmir government, was allegedly involved in a terror funding case.He has been lodged in Tihar jail in New Delhi.

After a year, second (Younger) son was arrested in the summer capital, Srinagar by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

According to official sources, investigation has revealed that one of the accused, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, based in Syria, had allegedly transferred money to Yusuf at Syed Salahuddin’s behest between 2011 and 2014.

Syed Shakeel Yousuf, a laboratory technician at S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), was arrested by a joint team of NIA, police and CRPF personnel during a raid at Rambagh in uptown Srinagar.

NIA alleged that Yousuf had received money from his father through a US-based international wire transfer company from Aijaz Ahmed Bhat, another accused in the case who is absconding and based in Saudi Arabia.They said the money was then used to fund militant and secessionist activities.

Meanwhile,Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has welcomed the termination of eleven employees for their anti national activities.Official sources said on Saturday that J&K government has formed a Task Force to scrutinise government employees.
