2 women of a family accused of helping to outrage modesty of a woman

Shahkot:The Shahkot police have booked four members of a family including two women on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The Investigating Officer said the accused have been identified as Santokh Singh, resident of Jaffar Pur village ,his wife Balvir Kaur,son Bahadar Singh and daughter Amanjot Kaur .
Kuldip Kaur, wife of Kuldip Singh , resident of the same village complained to the police that she was going to sell milk to milkman on June 3 early morning when the accused waylaid her and assaulted her.
 
IO said a case under section 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 354-B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe), 341(wrongful restraint) 324(voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) 109(abetting any offence) and 34 (committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has registered against the accused .
No arrest has been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused, said IO .
 
Village Sarpanch, wife booked for outraging woman’s modesty, theft
 
Lohian:The Lohian Khas police have booked a village sarpanch and his wife on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty and theft.The Station House Officer (SHO) B S Bhullar said the accused has been identified as Bhagwan Singh Sarpanch of village Chak Bandala and his wife Shano Bai .
 
Shila Ranni, wife of Shatir Singh ,a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted her on May 31. He made her unconscious and ransacked her house stealing Rs two lakhs . She said an unfulfilled panchayat election promise is the reason behind the attack on her.(UNI)
