3.5 magnitude quake shakes Mizoram

New Delhi: A slight intensity quake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, hit Lunglei region of Mizoram today. According to a statement by the Indian Meteorological Department, the tremor jolted the region at 0302 hrs. The quake was epicentered at 22.9 degrees north Latitude and 92.5 degrees east Longitude, the statement said. Its focal depth was measured at 147 Km, the statement added. (UNI)
