3 security force personnel killed, 3 other injured in militant attack in Kashmir

Srinagar: Three security force personal, including a policeman was killed and three others injured when the militants attacked an army convoy in North Kashmir district of Baramulla today.
Official sources told UNI an army convoy came under heavy fire in the wee hours at Khuwajabagh in Baramulla in Kashmir, where life remained crippled for the 40th day due to curfew, restriction and strike called by the separatists.They said army also retaliated, incising an encounter.

5 policemen injured in grenade attack in south Kashmir

Five policemen were injured in a grenade attack in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said here this morning.They said militants hurled a grenade at the Kakpora police post in Pulwama at around 2100 hrs last night, resulting in injuries to five policemen.The injured were immediately taken to a hospital, they said, adding the militants managed to fly under the cover of darkness.
