New Delhi: The Supreme Court today ruled that senior BJP leaders, including L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and several other 'Sangh Parivar' leaders will face trial on conspiracy charges in the disputed structure demolition case.
A bench, headed by Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and also comprising Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman, passed the order. The Apex Court, however, excluded former UP chief minister Kalyan Singh, who is at present serving as Rajasthan Governor and enjoys Constitutional immunity. (UNI)
