After Badaun, 2 minor brothers beaten to death by aunt in Prayagraj

Prayagraj: Two minor brothers were beaten to death by their aunty in Meja area of Prayagraj district here in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
 
Police said the incident took place in Hargarh village where Lucky (5) and Avi (3) were brutally beaten with a wooden plank by their aunt Parvati injuring them seriously.
 
"The two boys were taken to the hospital where doctors declared them dead," they said.
Police said the accused Parvati is said be mentally retarded.
 
"The woman escaped after the incident. A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated by the police," they said.

Earlier, two minor brothers were killed and one more was injured after being attacked by their neighbour in Civil Lines area of Budaun district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

Police sources said that one of the accused Javed was killed in an encounter with the police. "Sangita, a resident of Baba Colony, had a dipute with her neighbour Javed, who run a salon,," they said.
 
Police sources said that on Tuesday evening Javed and Sajid entered Sangita's house and attacked her three sons Ayush (11), Piyush and Honey (6) with a sharp-edged weapon. "While Ayush and Honey were killed in the attack, Piyush sustained serious injuries," they said.
 
Police sources said that the incident led to arson and protest by the local residents. "The accused Javed was killed in an encounter with the police," they said.
