Lucknow : The six-day long crisis within the first family of the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh ended over a 'cup of tea' which Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had at the residence of his rival uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav after a clear showdown between the supporters of the two leaders in the morning.
In an apparent climb down, Akhilesh Yadav met his uncle and state president Shivpal Yadav at his official residence on Kalidas Marg here this afternoon.
Shivpal Yadav was appointed as state president in place of Akhilesh Yadav on September 16 triggering a crisis in the party.
