An alleged Chit fund case in Jharkhand is creating buzz in the state

A chit fund case in Jharkhand has come to the fore where many locals have been duped. The matter is regarding a shell company that promises to double fold the income invested.

 
According to sources, A company named Jeevan Astha international owned by Kolkata native Paltu Mandal and his accomplice posing as agents have allegedly minted crore of rupees from people all across districts.
 
The whole matter was exposed when people demanded their money and subsequently, Paltu Mandal handed over them forged cheque. Duped by the conman, citizens are forced to make rounds of courts for justice.
 
As per the sources, only in the Gadhwa district, Paltu Mandal has duped around 1.5 crores rupees from people. The amount is expected to surge in hundred of crores if a high-level probe is ordered in this matter.
 
The victims of this scam also threatened to protest at Jantar Mantar if justice to them is delayed. CM of Poll bound West Bengal Mamta Banerjee won't wish another chit fund case to grow as a dent on her image.
